OVERVIEW
This project was completed during my employment at SyncVision, a start-up medical camera inspection company.

Problems

The indication is not obvious. the flow is confusing, poor user experience.

The goals

Improve the overall user experience, and enhance end-users workflow.

User Personas

Based on the product solutions, our target audience mostly centered around mid-age middle class parents whose kids got chronic suppurative otitis and constantly needs to be taking care of the symptoms.
Due to the secondary research result, out of 425 valid responses, overall most parents displayed adequate knowledge (77%), positive attitude (61%) and good care-seeking practices (70%).

User Personas

What I noticed initially was that there were many usability issues that I call "low-hanging fruit". These are issues we find that can easily be fixed following basic usability standards without disrupting the existing user experience.

Sketching & Task Flows

I'll usually start my design process with low fidelity sketches, wireframes, and flows. I'll begin the process in isolation to gather all my thoughts, then I had working sessions with key team members (including product manager, dev leads)

Finalize Visual Designs

The outcome

We addressed usability issues across the entire product, reduced the mistaken
and steps for the scan flow and added more efficiency.
